Welcome to ACCT 102

Hello, students! Welcome to this course. I am so excited to work with you this term and assist you in achieving your educational goals. I truly look forward to our class and getting to know each of you. If you have a preferred name that is not on the official roster, please send it to me. You are welcome to call me Mr. Yostrum or Professor.

Let me introduce myself. I have 38 years of real-world experience in the areas of business, finance, and accounting. I have worked for a Big-Four Accounting firm, three multi-national companies, and started or owned four successful businesses. I am a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Global Management Accountant, and a Certified QuickBooks Pro-Advisor. I hold a Master's in Business Administration and a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration. I have taught both as an adjunct and QuickBooks instructor.

This class will be taught via Zoom and live (in the classroom). I encourage you to be in the classroom if your schedule allows. On Zoom please have your cameras on and plan to participate, complete the homework assignments and have fun!!
